About Us

Merrylands Junior Rugby Union Club is an offshoot from the seniors rugby club founded in 1968. In the late 1990's the junior club ceased to operate. In 2022 The current seniors committee seeked to reinvigorate the love for rugby amongst the younger generation. The aim is to raise a minis team within the Western Sydney Minis Competition and a  Juniors team within the Sydney Juniors Rugby Union Competition for the 2023 Season.

In 2023, our first year back to the Sydney Junior Rugby Union Competition, with the assistance of NSW Rugby, SJRU & Our district clubs, Merrylands Junior Wolves were able to achieve the following:

Under 7s Minis team

Under 10s - A-Grade Semi Finalists

Under 12s- E Grade Semi Finalists

U10 Boys 7s 

8 District State Championship Representatives

Merrylands Juniors is grateful to all those who were involved and instrumental to the restart of our Junior Club. 2024 see's us grow our juniors across the club with older age groups, a girls program & some trophies in the cabinet!
